Day 6....Tokyo
21.06.2005
Day 6, Tuesday 21st June 2005
Had our "western style" breakky this morning.... was interesting to see their take on western... was interesting but it was great and kind of them to attempt it hehe.
We went to an observatory first thing this morning it was pretty good, un real view of tokyo!
We went to Asakusa, this was one of my favourite places in japan was so cool! its a big long street that seems to go for miles with heaps and heaps of little shops and markets!
Then we all went shopping i spent sooo much money... ooops!
(Entrance to Asakusa)
Later in the afternoon we went to Akihabara, we spent hours there, its known to most people as electrical city it is soo cool... sorry i know i have discribed alot of places as sooo cool but they were!
(on the street in Akihabara)
While me and some friends were sitting down i ran in to one of the aussies i met at disney land i was so excited and it was pretty incredible that we even seen each other again!
Some friends and i went for a coffee in a really nice little french (yes french) coffe shop and then later when we got back to the hostel we went for pizza at this really funky pizza shop down the bottom of our hostel.
then we went back to the room and i went for a shower and lost my watch
wil have to go ask at the front desk!
funnyest thing in the bathroom on the mirror is a sign ill have to post a pic of on here later saying "Please do not wash hands, clothes or hair in the toilets" was hillarious!.. concidering it was above the basins im assuming they ment basins!
At about 11pm to night i got a knock at my bedroom door from one of the adults who came along on the trip to get dressed straight away we were going for coffee and shopping... believe it or not japan is just as busy at 11-12 at night as it is at 11-12 during the day, that was fun we went for a wander and found a starbucks not far from where we were staying.
Then when we got back to the hostel i couldnt seem to find any of the girls... i went up to the lounge area and found them all crowded around this young guy from Cambrige in England all mystifyed by him and drooling was so funny but later i found my self doing the same he was gorgeous and his accent drew us in haha the teachers had a hard time getting us away from him and back to our rooms... good on them for trying though!
Rang mum and dad tonight but forgot they were at Alice Cooper concert so i spoke to Uncle Brian, MItch and Teri, it was good to hear their voice!
anyway need sleep
goodnight!
